Terms & Conditions

Applicable to every ride and every service carried out by AMS Taxi Schiphol.

This is an English translation, made in August 2026, of our Dutch terms and conditions. The Dutch text is the binding version; where the two differ, the Dutch wording prevails.

1.

Definitions

AMS Taxi SchipholThe taxi company offering services through www.amstaxischiphol.nl. Registered company name: Taksim. Trade names: AMS Taxi Schiphol, AMS TAXI SHIPHOL, Haarlemse Taxicentrale (HTC) and Taxi Centrale Heemskerk. Address: Bernadottelaan 122, 2037 GV Haarlem, the Netherlands. Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 85905828.
CustomerThe person who books a ride through the website, by telephone or by email.

Booking and confirmation

  • A booking is final once you have received the confirmation email.
  • The customer is obliged to enter correct details (address, date, time, flight number).
  • Bookings must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.
3.

Fares and payment

  • All quoted fares are fixed prices including VAT.
  • The fixed price applies to the route stated, regardless of delays caused by traffic.
  • Payment is made in cash, by card in the vehicle, or by bank transfer in advance.
  • Business customers may pay by invoice once their account is approved.
4.

Pick-up and waiting time

  • The driver is present at the agreed time and address.
  • For flights arriving at Schiphol the driver follows your flight number live; if the flight is delayed, the pick-up time moves with it. After landing you have 45 minutes of free waiting time.
  • If the customer does not appear within 15 minutes, AMS Taxi Schiphol reserves the right to cancel the ride.

Cancellation

More than 24 hoursFree cancellation

6.

Liability

AMS Taxi Schiphol is not liable for missed flights caused by delays outside our control (exceptional traffic congestion, road closures, force majeure).

7.

Governing law

Dutch law applies. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the district of Noord-Holland, the Netherlands.
