How our fixed prices work
The price you see is the price you pay. There is no meter running, so a traffic jam on the A9, a diversion around roadworks or a driver waiting at your door costs you nothing extra. Every fare on this page includes VAT, fuel, tolls, luggage and the driver's time. We do not add surcharges for night-time departures, weekends, public holidays or flight delays — a pickup at 03:00 on New Year's Day costs exactly what the same journey costs at two in the afternoon.
Fares are per vehicle, not per person. A standard car takes up to four passengers with luggage; a minibus takes five to eight. For a family or a group that makes the comparison with public transport straightforward: four train tickets from Haarlem to Schiphol cost roughly the same as the whole car, and the car collects you at your front door rather than at a platform with a suitcase in each hand.
For trips of three days or longer, a return taxi usually works out cheaper than leaving a car at the airport. Three days in Schiphol's P3 car park is around €66 before you count the fuel, and long-stay parking rises steeply beyond that. A return journey is simply twice the one-way fare — there is no separate return tariff and no booking fee.
Prices for destinations not listed here, including Rotterdam The Hague, Eindhoven, Brussels and Düsseldorf airports, are quoted the same way: a fixed amount confirmed before you book. Call +31 85 400 5400 or use the booking form and you will see the total before committing to anything.
