Invoicing and how an account works
Every business journey can be invoiced in the company name with the VAT specified separately, which is what your finance team needs to reclaim it. For companies that book regularly we set up an account with a single monthly invoice covering all journeys, rather than a receipt per ride that someone has to collect and file. Journeys can be booked by an assistant or a travel coordinator on behalf of a colleague — the confirmation goes to whoever needs it.
Fixed pricing matters more for business travel than most people expect. A metered fare cannot be approved in advance, cannot be budgeted per project and turns every traffic jam into an argument with expenses. A fixed amount, agreed before the journey, is the same figure on the booking, the invoice and the expense claim.
For recurring routes we assign the same driver where scheduling allows.
