Travelling from Zandvoort to Schiphol
Zandvoort is a seaside resort with a permanent population of around 17,000 that swells enormously in summer and during race weekends at the Circuit Zandvoort. For visitors staying at the beach, the journey to Schiphol is about 35 kilometres and takes 30 to 45 minutes via the A9 — considerably faster than the train, which requires a change at Haarlem.
Race weekends are the exception worth planning for. When the Dutch Grand Prix is on, road access to Zandvoort is restricted and journey times become unpredictable in both directions. We adjust pickup times substantially on those dates, and we would rather collect you an hour early than explain why the road was closed.
Outside those weekends the route is one of the more pleasant in our area, running inland through the dunes at Bloemendaal before joining the motorway. Hotels along the boulevard and holiday apartments in the streets behind it are all standard pickup addresses at the same fixed fare.
