The route, the terminals and what is useful to know before you leave.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol lies fifteen kilometres south-west of the city and is the largest airport in the Netherlands. If you are flying from our region, it is almost always your quickest point of departure.
- Home base of KLM
- Over 300 destinations in Europe, Asia, America and Africa
- 20 to 40 minutes from our region
How we drive
We drive via the A4 or the A9, depending on where you are coming from and how the traffic is at that hour. The driver takes whichever road is fastest at that moment, even if it is the longer one.
- Traffic on the A4 and the A10 is already allowed for in the pick-up time
- We track your flight, so we see any delay automatically
- If there are hold-ups on the way, that time costs you nothing
One terminal, three halls
Schiphol has one terminal building with three departure halls. Your boarding pass shows which hall belongs to your flight, and that is where the driver drops you off.
- Departure Halls 1, 2 and 3 are under one roof
- Your flight number tells us which departure hall it is
- Pick-up upstairs at Departure Hall 2, exit F
Good to know
- Be at Schiphol at least 2.5 hours before departure
- Online check-in is usually possible 24 to 48 hours in advance
- Schiphol Plaza is below the departure halls, with shops and the train station
