Bloemendaal is a green, low-density municipality spread between the Haarlem city edge and the North Sea dunes, and that layout is precisely why door-to-door pickup matters here. Addresses in Bloemendaal, Overveen, Aerdenhout and Bloemendaal aan Zee can be several kilometres apart, with limited bus coverage in the evenings and none of the density that makes public transport convenient elsewhere.

The route to Schiphol runs east through Haarlem and then along the A9 or N205, covering roughly 27 kilometres in 25 to 35 minutes. Traffic through Haarlem is the main variable, particularly during the morning peak, so for a flight before nine in the morning we usually recommend leaving a little earlier than the raw driving time suggests.

Bloemendaal aan Zee is a separate consideration. The beach pavilions draw an international crowd through the summer, and guests staying at the coast often have no car and no realistic bus option late at night. We pick up directly at the beach club or hotel, at the same fixed price as any other Bloemendaal address.
